An expert panel of three to six practitioners

One expert gives you a view. It is the second and the third who tell you whether it is the market’s view or just theirs. We convene three to six vetted practitioners on your one question, moderated live, so agreement and disagreement surface in the room.

Definition

What is an expert panel?

An expert panel is a moderated session that brings several vetted industry experts, typically three to six practitioners, onto one question at the same time. You hear them respond to and build on each other in real time, so agreement, disagreement and the reasoning behind both surface in a single conversation. The panel is drawn from Nextyn’s own network, with particular depth in India, Southeast Asia and the Gulf, moderated and synthesized by our team.

What it answers

Triangulate in one sitting with three to six practitioners

  1. 01

    Thesis stress testing

Put the investment case to several former operators at once and watch which parts survive the people who disagree with it.

  2. 02

    Value chain triangulation

A buyer, a supplier and a former operator on the same question, so the answer is not read from one seat in the chain.

  3. Notes and charts laid out during a working session
  4. 03

    Market entry decisions

Several plausible answers, pressure tested against each other before you commit to one of them.

  5. 04

    Competitive positioning

Where practitioners split on who is actually winning, and the reasoning each side gives for its position.

  6. 05

    Concept and positioning tests

Put a proposition to the people on both sides of the transaction and let them argue it out in front of you.

How it works

How Nextyn convenes an expert panel

Our research lead owns the question and the seats, and nothing is scheduled until you have approved the panel.

Why Nextyn

What makes a panel worth convening

Several practitioners in one room is where a session either sharpens or drifts. The difference is who fills the seats and who holds the thread.

Who convenes an expert panel

Four kinds of team, one shared problem: a question that takes several operator views to move the decision.
